Jesse James by Wally Wood

Dunnae how I missed this one, but apparently I did!  Look up Avon on here to see some great pre-EC by Wood, mainly all those inside front covers.  This one was under the cover of Jesse James Gang's Prison Break #5

    True dat! Have you had a chance to view the other Avon posts on here? I feel like the WW inside covers were onea the best revelations from blog'n

    Avon was awesome. I used to have some of those IW reprints of Space Detective and Fu Manchu; beautiful Wood/Orlando art in both.

      Yeah, hadnae heard of the reprints, but I always think with bittersweet memories of a little shop near the capital in Denver where I found a copy of Space Detective #1, and even in the 70s, it was very beat, and marked 20 bucks. Still kick myself for walk'n away from that one
