These were done when I was four years old, so they were definitely missed, but I can tell you everything Bugs Bunny was up to at the time

 

DumDum DumDum DumDum by Roy Krenkel and Frank Frazetta

 Six Dums is how the great song by Clarence Quick starts also (okay, there is a "de doody" in between Dums five and six, but still).  Embiggen the fanzine cover for a real treat.  I like to think I maintained my good I. Q. through grade school by always having a roll of Smarties after every Dum Dum lollipop

"Copy That, Good Buddy" by Dan Adkins

 We recently mentioned Dan's wondrous ability to create some great art by copy'n some great art, but I thought it was really cool that the guy who encouraged him most, Wally Wood, was the guy he copied best.  The Maze! was Adkins own creation, soooo....about a decade later, The Cap'n copied Dan Adkins

Maevelmania International Membership Card by Jack Kirby

 "lesser mortals" sounds just like Stan Lee.  It reminds me of his classic "puny humans"

Insolent Human! by Wally Wood

Great Sub-Mariner by Wood, and I just saw it!  It was in Marvelmania Magazine #5, part of the ad for the Super Hero Portfolio (?), then again in a house ad.  Looks like the panel from page fifteen of DD #7, but much better, in my opine

 Shades a Stormbringer!  Have no idea what Berni was up to (if you do, please clue a cap'n in), but it looks amaze. balls.  I'm think'n cadillaxe is like moose, can be singular or plural

Flash Gordon and Dale by Al Williamson

 Lots of Alflash on here already (cool that Williamson had such a passion for Flash), but I find this one che nice

Slow Death #4 Cover by Rich Corben

 Havenae put this up in quite a while (methinks), but it still warms the cockels.  Gore was the wizard of the air-brush, and I'll always call this the pinnacle.  Although the nineteen-seventy-sump'n date on the world peace treaty placard was part of the spookiness of the image when it came out, it's kinda lost its edge over time, but the art will never lose its edge
