Conan by Bob Kline

Just last night I was down a rabbit hole of look'n at all of Robert's stuff I have on here, and realized I just might have neglected this one.  I saw it first in Anamoly #2 (great fanzine that would be worth your while on all four issues, methinks).  Then in the amazeballs The Robert Kline Portfolio (again, worth your while-being a compilation of a ton of his fanzine work), and finally, in The Savage Sword Of Conan.  All three are a joy to me, showing different aspects of his fine lines, which I think are truly fine

Downward To The Earth by Frank Frazetta

Dunnae if I ever posted this incredible paint'n by Fritz, but I just saw it again in onea my relentless searchings of book club (what happens at book club stays at book club).  The fourth image is the frontis to that hardbound, but the fifth image is kinda freaky.  It's a rough of witchofthedarkgate, and the elephant in that looks a lot like the Nildoror creatures 2 years later

The Guardian by Jack Kirby

Yeah, yeah, The Guardian is all over here in the way-back, but I just saw that second image.  The first image is onea my favs from the black book valentine Jack did for Roz.  I dunnae recall who inked it in the softbound Heroes & Villians, where different artists inked the black book pages, but I remember getting rid of the book fairly quickly, cause I couldnae bear to look at some of those ink jobs

S'More Conan by Roy Krenkel

In the wayback, I did a similar post, but these are all new to me (I think).  Wish I could see it bigger, but I really enjoy that first image

Paragon #4 Cover by Jim Steranko

Yeah, yeah, this (heck, ALL the Steranko fanzine covers) has been done to death, especially on here, but this is bigger, better, faster, stronger, and I dig it

Coupla Lost Frankensteins by Berni Wrigthson

...and then two plates that were actually in the coffee table book.  Call me crazy (hey, I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested), but I like the scene best as it's portrayed in the first unused image.  That staff, methinks, could probably be snapped easier than the #2 pencils I useta demolish between my fingers

Heroine by Jack Kirby

Just saw this beaut of an animation presentation piece, and it really took me back.  About twenty-five years ago, I was introduced to the net, and all I cared about for some time was using it to search for Jack Kirby.  I was amazed that every night I would see at least one piece of art by Jack that I'd never seen before
