One More Death Dealer by Frank Frazetta

Thought I had the ultimate post on this guy in Oct 2012 (see "Frank Frazetta For Ross of Cursed Armada"), but I missed this great sketch

Asgardians by Jim Steranko

Here's a favorite fantasy--the 1968 Thor Annual by Steranko---it would've rocked the entire comics cosmos.  Still haven't seen the second Thor movie, but the first one was a blast

Three More Unused Covers by Jack Kirby

Jimmy Olsen #147 (in which Supes goes to New Genesis and faces somebody stronger than himself!), X-Men #10 (so THIS is the real first appearance of Ka-zar), and Kobra #1 (even though they messed with much of the interior, this would've still been a great cover)

Flash Gordon Cover by Al Williamson

This was an amazing fanzine, but I still think the cover was the best part

Uncle Creepy by Berni Wrightson

Amaz'n detail-every page, cloud, brick, crease....I'm kinda diggin how my hands are beginning to look like these hands

The Silent Death by Jim Steranko

Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but this is by far my fav of Steranko's many Shadows

Alf by Frank Frazetta

I never would've guessed that years later this alien monster would have his own hit TV show

Cosmicon by Jim Steranko

Steranko did this gorgeous piece for Canada's first convention

Deadman by John Fantucchio

Frazetta's signature was beautiful, but John's has gotta be a close second

Catwoman by Barry Smith

Catwoman by Jim Steranko

Too bad Wolverine wasn't around for Neal's run on The X-Men
