Help! Nine years ago I put the first image up, ask'n if anybody had a clue, and four years ago, upon hearing of Neal's passing, I put up the second image as the lead picture in a big post of many of my favorite Neal Adams art. Not a peep either time. When I first started wondering about this guy, his hair was a crewcut and his outfit was inorganic (and my beard was black)

Sweet Co-Inky-Dink by Gil Kane
I got married in July of 1985 (41derful years, as I now say), and The Sword of the Atom Special #2 came out in July of 1985. Never realized that, but I've long realized it has onea my toptenteentunes fav covers. Almost 20 years ago, the trade came out, but I just finally see that awesome cover is the back cover of the TPB. Layers of co-inky-dink, like an onion. Maybe that's why my eyes are a little sweaty

Collection Covers by Steve Ditko
Hear'n about (thanx, Russ!) and look'n up Ditko Batman made me take another gander at these wunnerful covers, but once again, I'm left wanting a little sump'n sump'n more. The Shade cover leads to the Creeper cover and the Hawk'n Dove cover, but where's the Stalker cover? Truth be told, much like the other three, I've seen all the Stalkers and (as Cap'n Jack says) kept all I wanted and burned the rest, but I would really enjoy another omnibus cover

Heritage Silver Surfer Cover by Jack Kirby
Help us, Obi-Wan, you're my only hope! Where did this originally appear? It twern't down any of MY rabbit holes
The next morn'n, and I'm highly appreciativc of Russ (again) for making me open my crumbling copy of FF #55, which I didn't risk before because A. I remembered a great Surfer/Thing fight, but not this page, and 2. The crumbling. At least page 3 was easy to scan cause the cover and splash/letters page fell off when I opened the bag

Saxcrifice by Frank Frazetta
Third image is what we got on the paperback cover of Conan The Avenger, but the watercolor and roughs show Conan lost an axe. This leaves Conan in the rare sitch of being bare-handed, and while his paws look like more than a match for any jar of pickles, I still wish the final painting had the axe

The Barrel-Chested Barbarian by Berni Wrightson

Another In The Lower Depths by George Metzger
In the not-so-distant, I put up the first four, and folks said they hadnae seen em, so here's another one, from the fanzone Voice of Comicdom #14. I dig that the title is made from girders, and at the other end, a woman is hav'n her tenth forbidden child. I know a woman who's had 10, and she told me it just gets easier and easier, with the oldest ones help'n with parenting, errands, and chores

The Green Turtle by Jim Steranko
Yeah, Steranko has rendered a lotta great golden age heroes, but nothing compares to this guy. His cape alone is worth the price of admission. "Ten dollars gets you the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!" Ah, Monster Truck rallies
The Invisible Girl by Jack Kirby
If I'm grok'n correctly, this is weirdly wunnerful. First is the 2nd printing of the Marvelmania Fantastic Four poster, with Sue Storm actually turn'n on (or off) her invisibilty. It also looks a lot like the time Jack colored it himself (second image) with Reed's boogered arm, but beautifully understated colors. Third is the first print'n, and it's always bugged me, with Reed's one sunburned cheek
