The Rider by Frank Frazetta
Like Will Ferrell said in Zoolander, "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here!" When I saw this again today, I realized I had never seen it anywhere else, no Fritz coffee-table book, not on any gallery or auction listings, nada, ziltch, squat. Can anyone confirm or deny if this is a rare, sterile (non-re-productive) picture? I really don't know

It appears as a vignette in the hardcover Frazetta ICON book, but I think I've seen it elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteIf you can dig up DC's 70s run of Tomahawk, they reprinted a Frazetta story of the title character; there's a shot of the bad guy on a horse that's the exact same pose. So Fritz swiped himself.
Russ, you made my day (agin)....of course it's in Icon, EVERYTHING is in Icon, but I have no idea what the Tomahawk yer talk'n bout on the rest
