The Silent Death by Jim Steranko










First image is a Shadow trad'n card, and second is a scan of my Comic Book Marketplace, which is in sad shape, but big, and my favorite version of the painting.  If you know the real name of this, and/or where I can find more versions, please let me know

    Steranko named it Mad Electrons, and it indeed was used to illustrate the Silent Death in the Shadow series. I'd like to see an updated edition of Unseen Shadows which included the final paintings along with the pencil preliminaries. But with Steranko, there's a lot of stuff I regret is currently Unseen.
