I'm amazed how much I love the rough for the cover of Man From Atlantis #1 VS my near-disdain of the published cover, and I'm also amazed at how much I dig the original image of The Atom in a hand palm VS my near-disdain of The Sword Of The Atom in a hand palm
He was rarely helped by any inkers, and that Atlantis piece (by Dezuniga, maybe?) just sucks all the life out of his art. I was pretty interested in the new Kane Lost Marvels collection, but even that work, which seemed great when it first came out, seems stiff compared to the real Kane inks.
