Fanzine Frank Cirocco

 Okay, we all know what amazeball stuff Frank did when he came out with The Alien Legion (and beyond), but what I really dig is his young fanzine era.  Cap'n is, after all, a fanzine fan-boy at heart.  Cirocco is the same age as me, and he often dated his art, so it's cool for me to look at sump'n and go "wow, he was only sixteen!"  Bonus for me, also, was finding this Mike Kaluta illo on onea Venture's content pages

Stoney Bridges by Berni Wrightson

 Berni was Takin It To The Bridge a coupla times in Nightmaster, which I spaced eight years ago in my post about Stoney Bridges (I also spaced Jack Kirby's great bridge back then).  I think Stoney Bridges, by the by, would be a great name for a private eye
