The Steranko drawn face appeared in an earlier ish of MWOM #31 as a black and white (with Zipatone) pin-up. You can see it on https://kidr77.blogspot.com/2020/10/hes-nuthin-but-two-faced-hulk.html
Wow, thanks, Kid! Your post from a year ago is just georgeous, and the zip-a-tone pin-up is a real bonus. Onea our "yank" sayings is "a day late and a dollar short," but I've upped the ante by being a year late and a pin-up short

DeleteGlad you like it Cap'n. Feel free to reprint the b&w pin-up here.
DeleteMuch thanks! You just gave me the germ of a new post, all the ways we've seen Steranko's Hulk face the way it shoulda been
DeleteA mystery why the face was redrawn. At the size of the printed cover and angle, who'd notice?
ReplyDeleteCheck out Kid's post from the first comment here for a great answer to that mystery
