Atlantis by Frank Frazetta





Just Georgeous, but....riddle me this: did Frank paint this twice?  That first image is dated nine years after the paperback came out

    Fritz, on occasion, would go back and essentially redo an earlier painting. So maybe that happened here, hence the discrepancy you spotted, Cap.

      Might explain things--the 1982 version has a great axe for the pike, and the statue actually looks more like a statue
