    I'm not sure that's a beard Cap, looks more like he has drawn Tarzan's lower face in shadow, a signature Frazetta technique.

    Darn...the clean-shaven seem to be take'n over the world. Even most of my favs in comic art are clean-shaven (well, Kaluta and Barry Smith had some growths at times). From my profile pic, you can probably tell I hates to shave. I take solace in the great Billy Shakes, "He that hath a beard tis more than a youth/ He that hath none is less than a man." Of course, I'm just horsing around--some of the most macho guys have been clean-shaven
