In England, you can use a v for versus, which sounds weird to me, cause growing up, everyone said VS (I didn't even know about the word versus-so every fight was a VS).  Late sixties, Big John was boggl'n me with Avengers covers and Silver Surfer covers and Sub-Mariner covers, but this was right up there

 Okay, it WAS for sale some fifty years ago.  Don't know the price on the Fritz paint'n, but Berni's definitive Nightmaster for $75 was an amazeballs bargain.  Of course, if I'd seen it at the time, I woulda immediately thought "or, I could buy 500 comics," which is currently about all I have, so it would've been a big Pasadena

 Have to take the puppy outside in the middle of the night and watch for coyotes, so I thought it was time for another fundundant fav.  Dig both colorizations, but my recall is see'n it purplish at a grocery store PB spinner

New Galaxy by Wally Wood!

 Yeah, yeah, just new to me.  Found it in an old Galaxy mag I just acquired at the Flea Market (!).  This one took me back to Spawn of Venus, which is up on here in three different formats in the wayback
