The Awesome Fanzine That Never Was

This is the kinda stuff that really makes my motor hum (ka-chow!)!  First image is an ad for Galactic Illustrations #3 that I found in an old Sci-fi fanzine, then the same Ditko illo used in the ad, but colorized.  By the by, that tiny Thor sketch by Jack Kirby in the ad seems familiar, but I dunno if I've ever seen it. Next is a nice version of the back of Eon #3.  But why, Cap'n, why?  Okay, hold onto your beanie, but the fanzine GI #3 does not exist!  The Mr. A stuff by Ditko was sold to Eon, but where's the beef (er, where's the rest) ?  The ad says this imaginary fanzine also has W. Wood and Fujitake and some kid named T. Kirk (the internet, by the by, says this ad appeared in RBCC #62, but I don't have that, and no mention of sci-fi fanzines).  Next we have the covers to GI #s 1 and 2, which do exist.  wow
