Yes, it's too bad the interior plates didn't look like that. Kaluta's portfolio work is mixed for me and I think trying to do oil painting would've taken some time for him to get up to the level of his line art. I'd welcome a portfolio or book of his mystery/horror covers for DC in the 70's/80's. Also bought Marvel's King Conan/Conan the King just for the ornate Kaluta covers. He did a nice wraparound cover to a Marvel Handbook of the Conan Universe, too. When he's good, he's the best.
