Still amazed by Fritz's statement on this, although The Destroyer is incredible. Obviously luv it, as it is onea my most fundundant images on here. The British version is nicer than I've had up before, and sumpn special about that dark cover
Agreed. Frazetta might not have considered this one worthy, but I do, and more than its replacement which is a great action scene but lacks the atmosphere.
The proportions are off, but I still prefer it to the revision. There's a similarly (to me,anyway)distorted Hulk by Kirby/Ditko in #2,page 10,first panel where Hulk is coming through the wall. The head is huge, but it feels so unnerving. Keep posting this one, Cap, we're going for the record.
Ha! This one's probably already got the record (on here, at least). I cannae think of another image I'm quite as enamored with. May have said it before, but this paperback is my Catcher In The Rye if I was Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory. Whenever I see it at a bookstore, I have to buy it. Fortunately for me, I hardly ever see it
