Flash Gordon by Frank Frazetta













and fellow fleagle Al Williamson!  Help me out on the newspaper strip.  My understanding is it was published, but considered a "lay-out" or rough, and buried under some other artist's work

    Yeah, Frazetta worked on the strip circa 1953 while Dan Barry was the artist of record. You can get a look at what some of the finished versions looked like here:
