I know exactly what you mean! In the early seventies, Scottie Scott (I could never make up that name--cruel parents, those mama an papa Scott) invited me over to check out his collection, and while he had a lotta cool stuff, the best thing was this poster on the back of his door (the one with the lips). I offered everything I could think of in trade and/or cash, but the jist of it was Scottie could not give up this poster, or he would cease to be. I respected (and still respect) that
Great Ditko art, showing off his trademark hands and body stance. I wish I had this in a nice large poster for my library office.

ReplyDeleteI hope he still has it up some where. I used to have a great Doc Savage poster too which you can't get any where now.
ReplyDeleteDo you know who did the art? Best I can probly do is the mini-poster by Steranko from Comixscene 1
