Conan by Frederic Cooper


 You know me, I take my Conan however I can get him, but who the heck is Frederic Cooper?  The faces remind me of young Berni Wrightson

    No idea either. There's another drawing from the same time that looks to be a Wrightson copy, but I also found this more recent piece (80's), very Lovecraftian: https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1470718

      Thanks. Still wondering if there were some comics and/or fanzines I just missed. The eighties weren't kind to me comic-wise

    He also drew this little picture of Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, but that's all I could find out about him.

    The few known comic books credited to Frederic Cooper by GCD or Comic Vine look to me like the work of a different guy with the same name.
