Space War #29 Cover by Steve Ditko


 I suspect this was originally probably from the early 60s, but the colors on this version really pop

    Interesting to compare this to the original cover on Space Adventures # 31, which also used the splash panel from the story. I like the newer version better.

      Thanks! Just looked it up, and I'm add'n it for contrast. I agree the newer one has more appeal (but I dig the old spaceship)

    I well remember picking up that reprint when I was a lad in college. I was heavily into Charlton at the time (still am rather) and they were getting a lot of their vintage Ditko back into the marketplace to my joy.

      Just saw it, but I was off to teach on the Navajo Reservation when it came out, so little or no media
