Bazillionth post, but one of the best by Fritz, and with the polar front arriving in the next few hours, very apropos

    I suspect that Frank was rather embarrassed when someone pointed out to him that the bears are pulling the sled without any harnesses. He was always a bit too reactionary when addressing it later. Still a great painting, done back to back with "The Death Dealer," perhaps his most famous.

      Maybe explains why both pieces have the most amaz'n feligree on armor I've ever seen

    Ha never knew about the harness but who cares, it's FRAZETTA! Cold..ha we don't get cold here in Florida, sucka!
