Halloween by Berni Wrightson
Remember to always get out of the circle Before summoning---the warning's right there on the candle box
Cap'n America/ Conan by Jim Steranko
This iconic pose had already been used by Frazetta, but Steranko made a NEW version, which I find che cool
Pa! Ma! by Rich Corben
At one point Warren publishing decided to add color to their black'n white mags, but I really don't agree that more is more. That being said, Gore's art is amaz'n here (dig me some Corben rocks), and I slapped up the Frazetta cover to this ish (for a better look at the cover, search Luana on here). I think I say it too much, but embiggen and enjoy
Stardate Sci-Fi Gaming Vol 3 #6 Cover by Frank Frazetta
Here's an oddity....this version of Death Dealer was on the cover of a trekkie (???) oriented gaming magazine from 1987

Iron Man Sketch by Jack Kirby
Oh my heck! This con sketch is up for grabs on Ebay(ends this weekend, so hurry), and it is just my cupa---a detailed sketch by Jack at the height of his power, and I've never seen it. Grooooovy

Andor by Wally Wood
Personally, I like this pin-up better before it got published (Dynamo #2). Andor is the most compelling character in the whole Tower cannon, and seems to have a little Animan swagger, but besides a great character (plot is just footprints in the sand left by great characters, Ray Bradbury once said), we got to see a lot of Ditko/ Wood collaboration, which is always che cool

Conan Of Cimmeria by Frank Frazetta
Still my Fritz fav, kinda tied four ways with The Eternal Champion and the original paperback versions of Kavin's World and Conan The Buccaneer
Galaxy Green by Jack Kirby
Although Corben and Bode and Rand did some great stuff in the undergrounds, I kinda dig that Kirby never really got into that scene

The Creeper Fights by Steve Ditko
Just one of the scuffles in Beware The Creeper #4. Think I luvitsomuch cause it embodies the character so perfectly in only a two-page spread, so right-on, so far-out, so 1968

Shade And Strange by Steve Ditko
Makes me wish I had Static handy (Steve seems to prefer names that start with S). Two great fanzine illos. I really want to catch the Doctor Strange movie

Barbarians In Space by Jim Steranko
Dunnae what this is really called, but I call it this because I first saw it in the great fanzine Comic Crusader #12 ("The Barbaric Issue") back in 1972 (second image). First is the original, and last is a revised version, all great-great
