Awesome 1973 Berni Wrightson

Again with the "old-stuff Berni" that I've never seen-but I really don't think this is 1973, in the midst of his Swamp Thing run.  I believe it was just published in 1973, but looks closer to his style of 1969.  Whenever it was done, it's plain amaz'n

    Reminiscent of that one King Kull short he did . Perhaps this was a try-out, warm-up or outtake from an incomplete second story? He was allegedly upset about the color and production on "The Skull of Silence" and went back to DC for a while, derailing any planned sequel. Of course, Kull later got his own book.
