Cap'n America by Jim Steranko (he's everywhere! he's everywhere!--as they useta say on the intro to the radio super-hero Chickenman). The definitive book on Steranko has now been pushed to July 2014, about 11 months after the initial release date (sigh)

Nameless Terror by Frank Frazetta
As far as I know, this painting had no name. The painting it became for my cover of Creepy #27 (containing another great Steve Ditko story done in washes, by the by) is called Mongol Tyrant. Both amazing, but the initial painting is so disturbing, Fritz stored it facing the wall so Ellie didn't have to look at it
