Webster by Berni Wrightson

First is the complete Web'O Horror bookmarks, which makes me wonder where in the brief horror canon is that bookmark by Mike Kaluta.  Shades of Bode on the rocky trail and Barry Smith on the clouds, but my Sherlock-like lethargy is prevent'n me from tracking down its origin

Happy Birthday John by Jack Kirby

At first, I found this an odd name for a character, but then I remembered Jack's wonderful Prester John

Some Fanzine Spiderman

First is Art Cooper, with an amaz'n image that was also years before Marvel gave Spidey eight limbs.  Then John Fantucchio, then acourse Steve Ditko, then Dennis Fujitake, then Jack Kirby, then Wrightson (I guess a graphic novel isnae a fanzine, but wadda I know?  I've always assumed a squeegee is called a squeegee because of the sound it makes on glass).  And finally, Jim Steranko

The Argosy Covers by Jim Steranko

You may know how I love me some Steranko pencils, but I've never seen pencils of any of these.  If you know of sump'n, please holla

Sandman by Jack Kirby

Said it before, 1942 Sandman was the bomb, but there was definitely a lotta power and style when Jack brought his sixties style to an old friend.  Only new image here is the last one, another quick but wunnerful sketch
