He was incredible, and though he dabbled in comics (Heavy Metal), he transcended all mediums. I always stop and stare at his Witzend cover, which I will try to do honor sometime

Remember Steranko selling a Hinge portfolio in early issues of Comixscene. It took me a while to warm up to him.
