Dunnae have the Space- Borne EC story in front of me, but I think the jist was beautiful couple has a gruesome child, dad doesn't know, and on his return kills an icky alien.  Poor kid was onea those with "a face only a mother could love."  Nother great EC twist, and gorgeous art
