It's a Brother LC79 pro series, a large scanner that I often max out on the size and try to always tone down the brightness (600 on the size and a -6 brightness). Thanks for notic'n. I've been fairly pleased, except I can't scan in the biggies (Barry Smith's Pandora and Steranko's Mediascene centerfolds, for instance)
Your card scans are excellent. I have done a few, but they do not come out as well as yours. What dpi do you use?

ReplyDeleteOoops! You only asked about the dpi, which is 600. I've tried the next one-1200-on occasion, but my system starts to yell at me
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice. I just tried a card at 600 dpi, then toned down the brightness by -6 and it came out really nice.
