The Hulk Face by Jim Steranko

Kid of Crivens! Comics & Stuff offered up this first image to me from his blog (thanks, Kid!), and it made me think about all the times I've seen the beauty of the intended face.  Yeah, just about everywhere but the actual cover

  1. My only reservation about the drawing is that The Hulk looks to be straining far too hard (bent double too) to support his own name. Maybe there's a planet sitting on top of it, eh?

    1. Hah! Shades of Atlas, which never even occurred to me, but now that you've said it, it's che obvious

    2. If you go over to my blog and type 'The Mighty World Of Marvel Annual 1977' into the search box, you'll see yet another example of the page as a pin-up. Feel free to use.
