Space Ace by Al Williamson










Cannae believe in 1951 they already knew how the future would look.  The last image here looks like a Wally Wood swipe, but dunnae who did it first.  If you have any chicken/egg insights, please holla

    Wood actually worked on the "Death in Deep Space" story, probably for a couple of beers at Williamson's place. I've never seen "the Nothing Weapon" before. Then there's that story in Strange Worlds "Invasion from the Abyss" where Wood joins Williamson, Frazetta, and a couple of other guys for all I know.

      Shades of Kavalier & Clay! (look'n forward to that series, by the) Makes perfect sense, since Wood was the master of spaceballs
