A dear friend, Len, passed a few years ago.  During WWII,  he went down in the water in the same plane, but he dinnae have a tommy gun, and there wunnae been anyone to fire it at, anyway.  He had some great pictures the rescuers took of he and his crew standing on the bomber floating in the ocean
