Only From the Mind of Wally Wood


I may have posted this in the very distant (aka B4 good scanner), but only Wally and myself would've looked at manhole covers and thought of them as weapons

    Ursa (Sarah Douglas) used one during the Metropolis battle in Superman II.
    And I'm sure there are other examples in live-action superhero movies/tv series.

    Good point! Now that you've mentioned it, there most probably were others (Hancock, maybe?)...but I'm thinking Wood came up with the idea
