My Friend Is....Steve Ditko

Ditko's Deep Ruby has been bombed with views on here for the last week, and I'm such a cadet I had no idea why.  Then Wayne told me Steve had passed, and we had a moment (remember, I'm so broke I cannae even pay attention).  Ditko dinnae know I was his friend, or that thousands others were, and I suspect that's just the way he liked it.  Well done, Steve.....

    Congratulations on enjoying the last week in blissful ignorance. Life was better before we knew.

    Ditko cared not if we liked him - he wanted us to like his work. As a hermit, i loved that about him.
    (Oh! And - nice page choice.)

    I dig it, too--shows off his illusive ability to make art look simple while being amazingly detailed and just stop-in-your-tracks gorgeous
