Oooops! I had a really nice fundundant post of the Black Book Valentine Pencils Jack did for Roz, and it woulda been the umpteenth time I did it for Valentine's Day, but this year, life got in the way, and I just realized I only had moments left to even get a VD post up in the right month, and I can't do a gigantor batch of pictures (apparently the blog bartender says he hasta cut me off), and I just said how much I dig every Black Bolt Jack ever did, so here's one of many, but please search Roz on here for the whole magilla
I read somewhere that both Black Bolt and Black Panther were going to be individual titles, created on short notice by order of Martin Goodman to create Batman-style characters in anticipation of the imminent TV series. Of course, they couldn't get past Independent News' restrictions of how many titles they'd distribute, so they both ended up in FF. (Which boosted FF quite a bit as the place where new Kirby concepts popped up.)
