Sci-Fi VS Fantasy by Jim Steranko

Garcia and I had this great idea in high school for a book collaboration.  He would write chapters set on a highly advanced planet (he dug Asimov), and I would write chapters set on a nearby barbaric planet (Robert E. Howard has always been my main guy), and the book would culminate in an epic battle, but he got engaged way too young, and I accidently joined a motorcycle club known as The Sons of Silence (which is weird in a lot of ways, one being the fact I can never shut up)

Swamp Thing #9 Cover by Berni Wrightson

Nova Fanzine Splash by Dennis Fujitake

I put up the right half of this splash in the not-too-distant, but just saw the whole enchilada.  It's from the early seventies, which, like a lot of these artists, is the "prime-time" to me

Collage by Jack Kirby

Jack obviously enjoyed a collage now and then, so the last two are our tributes to his love becoming ours.  Tom Morehouse did an incredible job of using a collage to showcase barbaric Kirby (if nothing else, I dig seeing the giant from the Unleashed ad colorized), and then you have my pitiful attempt to combine Kirby machines into a Kirby-like (hopefully) star ship
