Posts from the wayback will show I love the cover to Conan Saga #1. I remember tell'n my local comic shop at the time when it first came out, "alright! another fantasy fulfilled!" I'd been in mourning for Barry's Conan ever since Savage Tales #3 came and went many years before. Think I said it before, but this image reminds me of my mom's voice. It's all well and good, until an enemy starts using flaming arrows. Hence the return to the flaming skies of the beginning of this whole magilla
What a great Conan he did. Not the first few issues exactly but when he got more baroque it was the most realistic Conan, IMHO
