Okay, it showed up in my mailbox, but I'm pretty stoked. Bob Kline's cover is the highlight, and that's up better in the wayback, but there's a buncha Fantucchio(here's the intro of Mysterious Hero w/o the verbage), and probly the first reprint of Deadlock by Wally Wood from Weird Fantasy #17 (y'know, where we first hear phrases like Squa-tront and Spa-fon)
Holy Crap. Reminds me of how much fun it used to be to check the mail. Also, how much coffee did JF consume; you keep coming up with more art. I think I used to have a crappy issue of TBG's Flashback that reprinted that Wood story in gray tones. They did a lousy job, but it was the only place I could find it for a while.
ReplyDeleteYeah, even tho the greytone cover was ah-ite, Flashback was traded away pretty quick for me. The zerox copy of Deadlock in Fandom Spectacular is even worse, hence the nice splash I put up here
