Icons Fresh Off The Spinner Rack

Not sure if other shops do what Wayne did, but when all these inexpensive reprints of great comics started coming out, he displayed them all on a vintage spinner rack.  Really takes me back, especially since I recall getting two of these originals off the same kind of display.  The first Spiderman by Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko was before my time, but the first Swamp Thing by Berni Wrightson was at a 7-11 across from The Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs, and the first Conan by Barry Smith was snatched up at a spinner in the PX bookstore in Nurnberg
