The Savage Night and the Horizon Sketches by Jim Steranko

Ah-ite, Horizon looked kinda lonesome by itself, and I don't recall putting up Savage Night before.  Is that Chandler coming to the rescue at the door?  Heck, maybe Chandler would have hopped in a Horizon in another place and time

  1. Thanks for posting all the Steranko Sketchbooks images. They look great! We recently resurrected a lost Frank Frazetta interview from 1970 that was printed in French in ZOOM magazine. You might want to post it here. Send me an email and let me know. Use the email address at The Drawings of Steranko.

  2. Thanks, Tony. Doesn't really sound like my cup a tea, but I appreciate the thought (probably pretty obvious, but my top trio is Steranko, Kirby, and Frazetta). You made me, however, think again of the Steranko trading cards--I'm hoping to get back to them soon

  4. Thanks, Tony, it was a fun read! I love all things Fritz, I only said it wasn't my cup a tea because I now have a problem, an addiction if you will. I must get every piece of art of my favs in the biggest, hi-res format that I can find, and so like a big dummy I scan through everything I see and I'm like Sheldon at the comic book store, "gotitgotitgotitgotit...." and then, and only then, can I relax and just read for pleasure. I really do appreciate things like this, I'm just weird

  5. If you got this is would be in French. We had a friend in Quebec translate it into English, and then John G. transformed the English text back into the original format of the magazine. If you got to get it, it is in ZOOM magazine, number 6 from 1971.
