A Rose Grows in Brooklyn (X-Men Interiors by Jim Steranko)

Although the covers were as beautiful as anything Steranko drew
the insides of X-men 50 and 51 left many of us puzzled.  Be it rushed lay-outs, or disastrous
inking, or both, it was nothing like we had come to expect from Jim.  And yet, some of the images
shined through the rubble. This spaceship, if I ignore the figures around it, is still an all-time fav
