I know this is up on da blog (and all over the net) but exsqueeze me, I don't believe it's been presented properly.  Still hasn't, since this blurs out as we embiggen, but the paperback turns fifty soon, and I doubt we can ever see it better.  Heavy sigh, since it's one of the most unique Frazettas (very un-Fritz like) that I've ever seen

Nolan the Barbarian by Dennis Fujitake

Just scrolled through my numerous posts on Fujitake, and found I had forgotten this, a great parody of Conan by three island homeboys that shows off Dennis at the height of his fanboy artistry.  Sweet.  I am not only grateful to Steve Ditko for Spiderman, the New Blue Beetle, The Creeper, and the incredible Warren Washes, but also for his wonderful influence on a young Dennis Fujitake
