This guy first splashed down in 1971 in a fanzine (second image). If you know the fanzine, by the way, please refresh me (I cannae remember last week, so fifty years ago is a lost cause). Three years after that, he lands in Amaz'n World #2 as a big splash of an unused cover, and three years after THAT he emerges as the cover of HOM #255 with some otherworldly color'n by Wally's ex Tatjana Wood
