Oh, and more than you can shake a stick at originally referred to sheep. If you have a small flock, you can get them moving just by literally shaking a stick at them, but if the flock grows bigger, that doesn't work and you need a dog and/or another guy.
Apparently he was to be one of the villains who would fight a team of Atlantean heroes called the Others in a story called Descendants of Atlantis.
