It's #10, the Convention Issue, with a Green Lantern cover. Pretty sure I got this from the Buyer's Guide a few years after it came out. My copy came with a lot of loose inserts announcing things like Skywald's Science Fiction Odyssey and Steranko's Talon. The issue has a bunch of photos from the 1970 Comic Art Convention. Everyone looks like babies.
On a hunch I decided to check Ken Meyer Jr's fanzine site Ink Stains and I found a free PDF so you can read the interview: http://www.kenmeyerjr.com/uploads/5/5/7/8/55780583/comic_crusader10.pdf
Thanks so much! Really dig Ink Stains--I'm always eager at the beginning of the month to see what fanzine Ken is doing, and somehow had forgotten this (course, I am the Great Forgetter)
This place has been Fanzine Heaven lately. I think I still have an issue of Marty Greim's Comic Crusader with a Kline interview.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I only have one issue of CC, and it's #12, the barbaric issue, with no Kline. Hook me up with an issue #, if you get the opportunafish, please
