Although the Doors classic, Riders On The Storm, has the lame rhyme "like a dog without a bone/an actor out alone" I still luvit. I know this is from Frankenstein, but it makes me think of Ahab
Not that it's any improvement, but every source I could find says the lyric is "an actor out on loan," which is weird considering he wrote it in 1970, when actors exclusively contracting with one studio and having to ask permission to shoot a movie somewhere else was already pretty much a thing of the past.
The picture makes me think of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, specifically Gustave Dore's Rime: https://mobilebooster.ru/udata/tiny/img/statii/28-01-19/5.jpg
