Mystery Ad by Berni Wrightson


So, early seventies I cut this out of a Buyer's Guide.  For being on newsprint, it has some che nice inks and washes to it, but, dummy that I am, I have no idea what it was for, and would love to see a better image.  Clue me in if you know.  Kinda reminds me of the great Tak'n No Chances

    It was used as a Creation Comics Convention ad.
    Mailn and Berman ran the group which expanded to sci-fi media cons in the late 70s early 80s.
    The piece itself looks like it's related to the then-released Hammer film Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter.
