I was totally oblivious to the Burroughs Bulletin, but then in 1981 I was at a little mall in Boulder called The Crossroads (a common name for a spot in much of the south a hundred years ago, so also a common name in the blues/ R & B cannons), when I walked into a bookstore in the mall and saw a hardbound (ie pricey) book called Richard Corben. I remember thinking I wouldn't get it, just wanted to flip through it, when the book opened to Tarzan (first image here-please embiggen) and I immediately bought it for about the price of a gross (12 dozen) of comics
