Pretty in Pink by Jeff Jones

Kothar of the Magic Sword is a weird paperback for me.  My first memory of it is at the K-mart Superstore (yes, K-mart was first- back in the seventies they were the first to combine grocery wid retail), and it had a pre-printed sticker on the cover with the new (later) price of 95 centavos, so it looked pretty much like the second image, cept for this gruesome yellow K sticker in the upper right that could not be removed--IT WAS PART OF THE PRINT!  The original cover (first image) was unviewed by the Cap'n till recent years, and I truly feel it is much, much better
