Shores on Kirby was kind of fascinating. When this issue was reprinted in Marvel Super Action, they restored Shore's more horrific cover image of the Red Skull's face that had been cleaned up quite a bit in the 1960's printing, I guess by the Comics Code.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there is sump'n frightening about a red skull that's more skull-like. Somea the original appearances in the forties really creep me out
