The Sub-Mariner Stamp by John Buscema

 Sixteen years ago, this stamp came on a letter from a buddy who was miles away at the time (member letters?  you member!).  Second image is the water-logged copy of Sub-Mariner #1 that I got for a song, and the last image is my favorite Kirby subby, that I've only seen as a similarly tiny image on the back of the Marvelmania Catalog

 Speak'n of trad'n cards from 29 years ago (last post)  I really dig this Wrightson dino.  I was once an allosaurus myself, after a two-day men's b ball tournament that I did little practic'n for (#none)

Chameleon Trad'n Card by Jack Kirby

 Got this trad'n card 29 years ago, and been groov'n on it since then.  May have had it up before (I dunno), but since I heard Karma Chameleon on the music mix today, thought it was a good time to look at it.  Yeah, it's latter-day, animation Kirby, but it's still che cool

Young Pat Broderick

 Oh, my heck!  Accord'n to my intensive search on here (okay, I typed Broderick into the search box), I have never put this great artist up before.  I love that first image, just want it completed!  The second image is a fanzine cover I guess, but no clue what the name is (or if it even exists).  Third image is a great Berni Wrightson piece that I've put up again since it so reminds me of the fanzine cover.  Lastly is Pat's first published comic work, which sadly reminds me again how I basically ignored the Atlas comics when they appeared

Vampire VS Zombie by Berni Wrightson

Just a che cool render'n by Berni, but how does the walk'n dead know how to kill the undead?  In Wrightson roshambo, of course, Frankenstein beats either (just got a sharp pain in the groin think'n bout South Park roshambo)
 

The Flame by John Fantucchio

Oh, my heck!  Yeah, yeah, so broke I cannae even pay attention, etc., etc., blahblahblah... but really, I seem to have been clueless about The Flame.  Here's John's first three published fanzine illos.  The first one I've had up before, and the third I at least admit I've seen it a bunch, but the second published illo, inside the fanzine The Golden Age #1....I have no recollection until now.  Almost as wild to me as John's Lone Ranger that I yakked up a while back

Darkseid by Jack Kirby

 Unless you wanna end up in the Promethean Galaxy, do not embiggen this!  (could be reverse psychology, though, so, yeah, you can go your own way, and not embiggen)  My favorite kids book, by the by, is The Monster At The End Of This Book, starring lovable ol Grover.  Anyhoo, when I embiggen this, I see endless strawberries, or strawberry fields, forever

 Never, ever saw this fanzine illo, but it got me think'n--Fritarz!  kinda anagrammy

 "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight..."  But it keeps get'n hammered home that a lot of great art has escaped my sight!  This fanzine illo is from 1969, and the sad thing is that at that time, I dinnae even know the name Gray Morrow
